Hello Everyone,
Thank you fso much for stoppin and reading this
As many of you know my amazing fiance Tori has been experiencing various health issues and recently one of her many diagnosis given to her is Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma which was found to be Nalignant (Bethesda Category VI). What does this all mean? Tori will have to have her entire thyroid will have to be removed along with possibly some of her lymph nodes.
During this time Tori has had to go on temporary leave which has left us to handle all finances on an income and a half. Tori's surgery is rapidly approaching, however, to have the cancer removed from her she does have some co-pays in which unfortunately at this time we are unable to cover.
I have broken down the cost so everyone can see why we have set the goal at what we have.
- Co-Pays-
Surgeon - $400 due by the 16th
Hospital Stay- $250 due by the 20th
Anesthesiologist - $300
Medication- $200
As you see just the medical adds up to the $1150 and that is all we are asking for assistance with.
* What does Mailgnant (Bethesda Category VI) mean? *
thyroid malignancies that were classified as Bethesda category VI on preoperative FNA have more aggressive features than malignancies that were classified as category III or IV. Although thyroid malignancies that are classified as Bethesda category V or VI on preoperative FNA may appear more aggressive than malignancies that are classified as Bethesda category III or IV, these differences are primarily due to a preponderance of classic papillary thyroid carcinomas in those categories rather than the less aggressive fvPTC that predominate among Bethesda category III or IV nodules.
* This is a lot of big words that cant be understood right?*
Basically the category of Tori's Thyroid Cancer is one of the most aggressive forms. So aggressive her nodule went from 3 mm to 11 mm and growing in the matter of 2 years. Her lymph nodes are also already showing signs of the possibility that this has spread.
* Whats left?*
Whats left is us asking those of you who are close to us to help us in this time of leave as we are already struggling with bills and a wedding that is supposed to happen next year. So help us help Tori so she can be that bride who walks down the isle to say I DO to me.
