I'm Dovid Aaronson, a Lemudey Kodesh teacher at the ever so awesome Ohr Moshe Yeshiva High School - a truly special place which provides small class sizes for boys - in Beit Shemesh, Israel, and I want to install a projector system in my classroom.  (For more info about the school, hang on 'till the end; there's a cool video at the bottom.)

I love doing fun/out of the box stuff in class, but without being able to project what I've got on my computer, I'm very limited. These are some examples of interactive text, quizes, diagrams, whiteboard, presentations, and games that I'd like to include in my lesson plans:

I recently had a shot at reviewing the Mercava 's digital classroom version of Talmud Diagrams and it will be really special for it to be included in our lessons!

There are many other tools out there and there are always lots of new and exciting educational tools coming out all of the time that can also be incorporated in lessons.

Now I just need a projector system to get it all up and running for the classroom!

Until recently, there was no room to install one because the classrooms in the building were tiny. I mean small. Like take the  size that you're thinking of and cut it in half. Twice. But now, we're moving to a bigger place to start the coming year, with a classroom that's much, much, much, much bigger! Yay!

So the time is now to make this happen.

I've set the fundraising goal at 2,000 dollars, which should cover a quality every-day-use projector, ceiling mount, a full-size projector screen for the wall, speakers, wiring and installation, not to mention fees that the good folks at 'GoFundMe' take for helping us make this happen. I already have a state-of-the-art hybrid laptop/tablet with active pen input that I would need to produce lessons.

So help me provide great Torah education to our children and donate right now - even if it's only a little bit - and share our cause!



P.S. When we pass our goal, this fund will pay for additional projector systems for other classrooms in the school.
