The day before Yom Kippur, our shul was gifted a Sefer Torah by the Marathon Jewish Community Center in Queens. After years of not being used, the Torah needs some repair to restore ink that has faded or fallen off over time. We need your help!

While at the Marathon Jewish Community Center the Torah was a Yizkor Torah honoring the memory of Holocaust victims. To honor this Yizkor tradition, our Torah will be dedicated in memory of the 11 Jews killed at The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. We hope this Torah will inspire us to remember our sacred responsibility to the Jewish people.
