My good friend and fellow kitty lover spotted Topper in her backyard on July 4th, 2021. She quickly gained his trust and was able to catch him and bring him inside, where he revealed himself to be a loving little snuggle boy. Dina used her extensive network of kitty lovers and was finally able to secure rescue - but right before he was taken in, the poor little guy was diagnosed with FIP.

Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease of cats that is utterly devastating to an owner or carer as it was almost certain to be fatal. Experimental medicines are now available and have shown great promise in curing the illness - but they are not cheap and we are asking our fellow friends of Dina and cat lovers to help us save sweet little Topper.

Topper has been responding well to his daily treatments thus far (he has completed 12 out of  84 days). We have set our goal to cover $1,700 for the medication with an additional $800 to cover any diagnostics - X-rays, bloodwork - that he may need over the course of his treatment.

Topper is a wonderful little kitten who deserves a chance and a long and happy life - will you please donate and help us give him the gift of life?
