Help me afford top surgery!!

I'M GETTING TOP SURGERY!

The surgery date is April 17th!!!

(but, because Medicaid will not cover this surgery, paying out of pocket means I need to pay for the whole thing 60 days before the surgery date, meaning February 17th)

I had made up my mind about top surgery about 3 years ago, but I didn't have a job at the time, which made things hard enough.

But then I got into a terrible car accident that wasn't my fault that left me without a car. I had to put any thoughts of surgery on hold and seriously job hunt. I did eventually find one, and suffered the mixture of a terrible public transportation system and horrid midwest weather until I could finally get a car.

Now that had a car and a job, the goal of getting top surgery was a realistic one!

I still need some help though. I'm on Missouri Medicaid, which does not cover the costs of this surgery. Paying out of pocket also means that I don't get a payment plan, and need to pay for the whole thing 60 days before the surgery date.

That means I need $6,855 on February 17th

Then why is the goal higher than that? It's the cost of a week of recovery time post op. If that particular funding goal isn't met, I'm fortunate enough that it won't be too big a financial blow.
