We're fundraising for Emmett, who is planning a gender-affirming top surgery early next year. The out-of-pocket medical expenses, in addition to taking a few weeks off from work, means that we are fundraising for $15,000.

You may know Emmett personally, or as a plant magician, or as the attentive and adorable face behind the counter at Bom Dia or Portland Yoga Project. In all of their roles and relationships, Emmett is caring and kind, so let's offer them this care and kindness in return.

The options for this surgery are limited, and come with long waits and huge expenses. As all sorts of healthcare is gutted, and as anti-trans sentiment surges, one of the most radical things we can do is offer tangible support to the folks we love.
