I’m Theo Cheam & I’m fundraising to support paying for my top surgery.

As a senior in college, while I work two jobs both off and on campus, I can only work so many hours on top of being a full-time student. This surgery is a necessary medical procedure (gender affirming care IS healthcare) however, my insurance does not cover any costs associated with it. With the impending presidency, and the threats against trans healthcare and general transgender rights, I am urgently seeking to have top surgery completed before we get too deep into this next year. My surgery date is scheduled for May 20th, and I need to pay for it in full by May 6th, two weeks prior to the surgery date. Overall the procedure costs $9,900.00, but I am working to cover as many of the associated costs as possible. My goal is to raise $4,950 to both help me pay for the surgery and pay my rent during my 6-week recovery period, where I will not be able to work. Any contribution amount is greatly appreciated!
