Hello! If you’re on this gofundme page you probably already know me, but in case you don’t- hi, I’m Lennox, I’m a trans guy, and I’m finally getting top surgery in November 2026!! Yay!! Yippee!!

Unfortunately, I have around $5000 in additional fees that I have to pay- which is, comparatively, not bad! Thank you Canadian healthcare system… but that being said, I do not have five thousand dollars. Hence the gofundme.

I’ve been waiting on the top surgery waitlist for over two years. They processed me two years ago, telling me it would be a three to five month wait for my consultation. Three months passed. Then five. Then eight. Ten. I kept asking, kept checking in, and each time I was met with the same answer- just wait. Eventually, after almost a year of waiting, I finally got an email that I had a consultation booked… in eleven months. A year of waiting for an appointment, and now it would be a year until the appointment itself. But what choice did I have but to wait? So I did- I watched the appointment get pushed back, I counted the months, counted the days- until finally in mid September I finally went in. The consultation went so great- with the exception of the reveal that I had to pay an additional $4600 in hospital and clinic fees. They broke it all down for me, and it was (frustratingly) airtight. That combined with the time I’ll have to take off work and the stuff I’ll have to buy for recovery… it’s not looking good for ole Lennox financially.

So! If you have five bucks, ten bucks, please, any small amount helps! I’m saving up for this surgery on my own as well, so hopefully even if I don’t hit my goal, I’ll still be able to foot the bill, but anything helps, seriously.
