Hi there, I’m Eli. I have been so nervous to write this and put myself out there but this is me finally biting the bullet. I’m starting this fundraiser to help me fund my long needed journey to top-surgery. This step I have taken to not only admit to myself but to everyone in my life that I require gender affirming care is one I never thought I take, but now that I am and you’re here reading this I need to ask for some help. This surgery costs money, serious money that I don’t have all of yet. I am humbly asking for your help, even the smallest amount goes a long way. If you can spare anything at all, I would be so appreciative. Your donation would go towards the cost of plane tickets (yes I have to go abroad, the waiting list in the UK is absurdly long and painful), hotel, items needed for recovery (there’s a lot!) and of course the cost of going under the scalpel.
