Top Surgery 2 Electric Boobaloo

The blurb:

My first top surgery has left me with substantial emotional discomfort, physical discomfort and sometimes pain so I need a top surgery do-over.

I am looking to raise £7,000 to cover surgery costs, flights and accommodation for both myself and my partner Onyx to care for me during my recovery.

The long version:

As many of you know I initially had top surgery on the 13th of August 2021 with a well known British clinic claiming to specialise in trans care. I had a smooth recovery, but as soon as my bandages were off I noticed I had massive 'dog ears', flaps created by a excess skin/tissue at the bit where an arm meets a pec. My surgeon assured me these would go away as the stitches "popped out" (whatever that means) and as I continued to work on my pecs (assumption from him, yes I did regularly bench but that's besides the point). I asked to have a revision, and was quoted £600 - just the room fee. Unfortunately, the clinic went bankrupt before I could afford my revision with them.

I've had a consultation with a surgeon that several of my close friends and lots of people on the internet of different body types have gone with and I feel really good about his action plan to revise my chest... But due to the current state of my chest I now need to get top surgery all over again, and it's going to cost £5,000.

Due to unrelated health issues I am not in a position where I am able to work full time meaning I don't have financial freedom to save a lot towards yet another surgery right now. I am looking to raise £7,000 to cover surgery costs, flights and accommodation for both myself and my partner Onyx to care for me during my recovery. If we don’t end up needing as much we will donate the extra donations on to other fundraisers supporting trans folks.
