Tools stolen from a 70 year old amateur woodworker
I’m Jim, a 70 year old amateur woodworker in Wisconsin, who still keeps going. I have survived leukemia and am managing heart failure. 2020 was a tough year and 2021 isn’t starting much better.
This past week more than $20,000 of my tools were stolen. My insurance is capped at $2,500. I use these tools for everything and help friends and neighbors with many projects. I have built up my tools from when I worked construction many years ago. I am devastated by the loss, some of these tools, like the hand tools I inherited from my grandfather, simply cannot be replaced. I use my tools everyday and am now at a loss as to what to do.
I’m hoping the community can help me with some of the loss. I have never done a Go Fund Me, but don’t know where else to turn.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
