I’m a homeless veteran that’s been living out of my pickup truck for the past 2 years. I’ve been helping my 2 daughters and my mom (in another state) financially while I’ve been struggling. I’m employed, but can’t catch a break.

3 weeks ago, my work truck was broken into while working in Austin. They stole over $2000 worth of equipment and some personal items. Company insurance won’t cover it, and I need these tools for work.

I need something permanent for living - an RV or a manufactured home. I’ve been trying to save, but it’s just one thing after another - truck repairs, injuries, or some other calamity. I need help. I’m really trying to get a down payment on a modest RV or trailer just so I have something permanent, recoup my losses on tools so I can continue to do quality HVAC work, and get back in the green.
