Toolbox Legal Fees

Hi my name is James, on August 22nd my college ministry house, The Toolbox had a first week of school event for students to meet new people, welcome freshmen, and have some good clean fun with a Toolbox tradition, the crowd pleasing milk joust! During this event we had two people get in shopping carts and go full speed at each other and slam milk jugs together. Towards the end of the event, the police arrived and told everyone to go home. When they arrived they found a group of college kids in our front yard socializing and having fun. No drinking. No drugs. Just having fun, we had already begun hosing the milk off of the road, and cleaned all of the milk jugs up. We were then informed that spilling milk on the road was illegal and 4 of our house members were given misdemeanors for depositing substances upon a road way, we are now facing criminal charges for spilling milk. Being college kids we are having a hard time pulling together the $3,000 needed to pay the legal fees for the four of us and the possibility of a $7,000 fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
