After postponing my much anticipated surgery that was scheduled in February until October 2nd (due to starting a new job that I love and going through major life circumstance changes), my rescheduled surgery date is creeping up QUICKLY! After losing 120 pounds and medically transitioning for two years now I am SO excited for this next step in my journey. I am very lucky that insurance will be covering most of my surgery, but I am trying to save and plan ahead to cover bills and aftercare expenses for the anticipated time I will be taking off of work. As a single parent working full time with a new apartment to pay for, this fund will help relieve the stress of taking the time off of work to be able to recover.
