Someone close to me has been facing serious health issues. She lives with kidney disease and was recently hospitalized after experiencing seizures. She needs regular dialysis, which is exhausting and has created a lot of financial strain.

She is on a very fixed income and needs time to rest, recover, and focus on her medical care. In the future she hopes to take on small jobs again, and she has amazing family and friends supporting her — but right now she needs a little extra help to get through this season.

With Christmas approaching, things are especially difficult. She could really use support with:

• Gas to get to and from dialysis

• Medications

• Basic living costs

• Everyday essentials
