Hi, my name is Anthony Rain Starez.  I'm a musician, writer, activist, humanitarian and quadriplegic due to car accident when I was 21.  I rebuilt my life over the years piece by piece- graduating college, writing/recording/performing music again, writing two books and loving my life despite my high-level spinal cord injury.  

I've been driving the same Ford van for 34 years.  That's not a typo! lol  I consider my van my partner- we're both getting old, but still running.  However, my "Mystery Machine" is needing repairs nearly every month.  It's been one loyal vehicle, and doesn't look bad for age, but time  is taking it's toll.  My wheelchair lift is giving out, tranny going and no A/C.

I'm asking you to help me with repairs.  I think $3k should help me rebuild transmission, front-suspension, bodywork/rust and paint.
