Hi guys, my name's Tony and I've been on the NHS waiting list for top surgery for several years now. Sadly I'm no closer to reaching the top of that list and getting it done, so I have decided to try and raise some of the funds needed.

Being public with this and asking friends and strangers to help me raise a large amount of money for this operation definitely feels difficult and exposing, and I'm not even really sure how to go about it, but given my circumstances, I feel like this is my best bet!

Getting this surgery is something that's so incredibly important to me; getting it done would really change my life for the better and let me live comfortably and much happier.

Money raised would go directly to the cost of surgery, which will be about £7,000-£8,000.

If you can donate anything, I would be so grateful as it would be a huge relief for me to just be headed towards this being a tangible goal.
