Tony’s Long Haul to Healing

On May 15th, Tony was seriously injured in a work accident when a semi fell from a jack while he was underneath it. Though he miraculously freed himself, the trauma that followed was life-threatening. In the days after, Tony went into cardiac arrest and suffered an anoxic brain injury due to lack of oxygen.

Since then, he’s endured a rollercoaster of complications—ventilators, emergency interventions, and now the hardest part: a long, uncertain journey toward neurological recovery. He will soon be transitioning to a long-term care facility over an hour away from his home and family.

Tony is a loving husband, devoted dad, and a friend to everyone he meets. He’s known for his strength, humor, and heart—the kind of guy who’d give you the shirt off his back, crack a joke when you need it most, and always shows up when it matters. Now, he needs us.

While medical expenses are being covered by workers’ comp, this fund will help with everything else—loss of income, travel costs for his family, support during his stay in long-term care, and the everyday needs that don’t pause during a crisis.
