Tony's Return Home to Italy

Hello, it is with great sadness that we announce Antonio "Tony" Ortu has passed after a long, courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Any one that knows Tony knows how proud he was to be from Italy. He especially loved sharing his culture with everyone that visited his restaurants. You probably heard him talk about plans to retire to Italy or start a company providing tours of Italy. Unfortunately, these plans never came to fruition.

It was his dream to one day return to Italy with his children to show them where he grew up. We are now planning to travel to Italy so we can bring Tony's ashes home and lay him to rest with his beloved parents and siblings Bruno, Nina, and Maria. For anyone who wants to help celebrate Tony's life (and maybe repay him for a bottle of wine or two), we are accepting contributions to help get Tony home.
