We have had a good fight.
It has been exactly a year since our journey with Tony's cancer diagnosis has began. We have tried the Gerson Therapy for about 8 months until this February, when we found out that the pancreatic tumor has grown twice the size. We believe the progress was slowed because of the therapy, but the cancer was still more agressive than any other cancer in nature - unfortunately, we did not win the battle.
Tony has been under Hospice Care since March after we have returned from California to see many of his friends and family for the last time. Since then, he has stopped working all together to help rest his body. It has been almost 3 months and we have noticed that his pain has been increasing while his energy decreasing. We do not know how much longer he may have before he is unable to eat all together.
His last wish on his bucket list at this point is to go back to Kauai where we had our honeymoon, almost 10 year ago. It is his dream to go back and sit by the beach and listen to the ocean one last time.
We're asking for anything you can help us with. With this collective gift and energy, we will have a toast to the beautiful life that Tony shared with everyone he came in contact with.
