Anthony Cox's Road to Recovery Fund
Donation protected
This past Sunday, August 16th, a close friend and colleague was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident in Chesterfield County. Anthony Cox was enjoying a beautiful Sunday, doing what he loves to do in his free time. His motorcycle ride was taking him down Rt. 153 near Amelia Courthouse where another vehicle crossed the center line, striking Tony head-on. The crash left him with serious life-threatening injuries to his left side. He was quickly airlifted to VCU Medical Center, where he remains in CCU. As of tonight, his left foot was removed just above the ankle and a pin will be inserted in his left leg to repair the femur. Thankfully, there was no major head or neck trauma. I personally have worked with Tony for 9 years, but others will say the same- his strong will and determination that he exhibits in field will help him pull through this horrific time.
Please continue to keep Tony, his two sons and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers. He still is in a fight as we pull this page together for him tonight and will have a long road toward recovery after the surgeries are finished and the therapy begins. This page is set-up to support him financially during his recovery. He will certainly need more than we can raise, but every dollar we do is just another thing Tony doesn't have to worry about while he recovers.
Please pass this along to your family and friends through your social media channels so we can spread the word and help our friend in his time of need.
