Hi, my name is Tonya Salazar and recently I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Josh, and am the mother to 4 young children. I work as a teacher to typically developing children as well as children with special needs, however, I am unable to work currently, as I have been put on bed rest until I am able to have my surgery.  Assuming all goes well, I will be able to return to work after my recovery.

I have to have a hysterectomy to which there is an 85% chance that the hysterectomy will work and a 15% chance that it won't and if it doesn't work I have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation.  My family is beyond worried about my well-being as well as continuing to sustain and support while I recover.

My family is already dealing with the stress and worry that I am sick so please help me get them through this emotionally and financially trying time so that I can hopefully recover in peace.
