Early Saturday morning, September 19th, a fire broke out at Tonya's Bakery and Cafe. Most importantly, no one was inside and everyone is safe—that is what matters most.

The shop will be closed for an extended time while we repair the fire, smoke, and water damage and rebuild. That means Tonya’s dedicated crew is suddenly without work while repairs get underway.

Anyone who knows Tonya knows how much she loves baking and serving her community. Her shop is her heart, and her crew is her family. Right now, our main priority is making sure her workers can pay their rent, buy groceries, and care for their families while the bakery cafe is closed. We want to keep them supported through this entire closure so they don't have to walk away and are ready the day the doors reopen.

Our goal is $50,000 so Tonya's team doesn't miss a paycheck while we rebuild. Every dollar from this fund goes straight into the hands of her staff to help carry them through.
