Tonya Mitchell kick cancer’s butt

Hi my name is Kathleen Nichols and I’m fundraising for my best friend Tonya. Tonya is the most amazing person you could ever meet. She would literally give anyone the shirt off her back.

Tonya went in for her yearly mammogram in August 2022 and was called back to get a more detailed on a week later. At that appointment they immediately took Tonya in for an ultrasound. After the ultrasound they scheduled a biopsy for the following week. Just a few days after the biopsy Tonya was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September 2022.

Tonya tested negative for Her2 and Braca which was a god send. Tonya went in for surgery in October 2022. After Tonya was healed from surgery she was able to start Radiation and is rounding the corner on finishing that up.

All while this was happening Tonya’s husband Mike has COPD and is no longer able to work. Tonya is the sole provider for her family. on top of all of this Tonya has just been told her landlord is selling her home and she needs to move out by the end of March.

Tonya’s medical bills are mounting and now she has to try to find a new place to live along with paying moving expenses.
