Tony's post surgery expenses

We don't even know how to put in words what we're feeling and going through right now but we're asking you to hear our story and keep Tony in your thoughts & prayers. Anyone that knows me knows this is hard for me to ask for help, it's not in my nature. I've excepted that I can't conquer it all or alone for that matter. My siblings and our mother who's opened her home to Tony are doing our best to get him through this. We have rearranged our life and schedules to be there for our father 24/7 on top of working full time, kids and everyday life. Unfortunately bills don't stop when life temporarily does.
Alitte insight for the unfamiliar. Going back 15 years ago our dad suffered from multiple heart attacks, causing pain and suffering and resulting in a stent. No matter how hard he got knocked down he wanted to be back up and at it the next day. He actually walked across the street once to his parent's house, while having a heart attack !
Two weeks ago he was presented with news no one ever wants to hear. He had a stress test and multiple blockage was found, leading to a cardiac catherization. Unfortunately it was worse then expected, 5 blockages, One at 100%, three at 90% and one at 80%. Resulting in a scheduled quadruple bypass open heart surgery . The day he got this news he was sent home to sit and wait a week. This caused many emotions and uncertainties. A few hours later I (Dana) recieved a call from his sister (where he drove to) that our dad just got taken away in an ambulance with possible heart attack. I was sick to my stomach and nauseous thinking the worst after the news he recieved hours prior. God was with him, it ended up not being a heart attack. We then demanded this poor man not suffer any more and surgery needs to be sooner. August 3rd was the day. Thank you to the amazing surgical team at
CC main Campus for a successful surgery. Arteries were taken from each leg to relocate in his heart. This was a huge procedure. He was under anestesia for about 20 hours total. Our dad taught us to never give up, fight for what you want. I can say he's the toughest fighter I've seen and never gives up. He would have tried to get up the day after if they'd let him haha!!
The pain he's in is excruciating, you can see it in his face. Most times he'll just say don't worry about me I'm ok. He was sent home today August 12th. Tony won't be able to drive for weeks, work for months and will need assistance for a good while. He's still a little confused from all the medications and anestesia, hoping that ends soon. He is safe in a comfortable spot and its one day at a time now. We appreciate all the love and support we have been shown through this time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
