Hello TDA family and friends,
First of all, we want you to know that so far we’re all healthy and have been self-quarantining per LA guidelines since we were temporarily laid off in mid March. The Tony’s staff is sticking together and lifting each other’s spirits (via some hilarious group texts) during this crisis. Most of us applied for unemployment for the first time and we’ve been sharing websites offering aid to service industry people affected by this crisis. While there has been some minor relief, many of us are anxious about making ends meet as the effects of this pandemic play out longer than we initially hoped. After discussing it, we decided to share this situation with you because you are our community and so many of you have been generous with your love and support over the years. We understand that some of you are in the same boat, and we don’t want anyone to feel pressured to give if they can’t. But if you are able to spare something (perhaps the tips you would have given us if we were open), it would really go a long way to helping us weather this uncertain time. Our hope is that we’ll be back to our normal jobs soon! We miss you and can’t wait to see all your smiling faces again!
