Hi everyone,

My name is Shavaun, and I’m setting up this fundraiser on behalf of our beautiful friend and colleague, Una, who has recently and suddenly lost her beloved husband (partner) of 34+ years, Tony.

Una has been part of our Telopea Park School OSHC team for over 12 years, a constant source of warmth, care, and dedication to the children, families, and staff who know her so well. And if you’ve ever been around in the evenings, you’d know Tony too. For as long as we can remember, Tony has arrived at 6pm every night to pick Una up - always with a smile, a wave, and a kind word. He became part of the rhythm of our service, part of our family, and part of what made our community feel like home.

Tony wasn’t just “Una’s husband” to us. He was part of our community, a quiet constant, a familiar face, and someone who supported Una in everything she did. His passing has deeply affected all of us who knew and loved him.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Una with funeral and memorial expenses, and to ease some of the financial pressure during this heartbreaking time. We want to give her the space to grieve and celebrate Tony’s life without worrying about the costs that come with saying goodbye.
