Tony Speranza Memorial Fund

Tony Speranza was a dear friend and a great musician who passed away unexpected on November 16, 2019 in Amsterdam NY .  Tony was born on June 20,1970, he was the son of the late Joseph Speranza and Lucia Cutri Speranza who resides in Amsterdam. Tony attended Amsterdam high school, he later studied and received his Master’s in Jazz Performance from Manhattan School of Music.  He performed with the New York Players band in Albany, NY and New York City.  He was a member of Local # 802 American Federation of Musicians, New York City.  Antonio was also a member of the West Point Army Jazz knights, playing trumpet.  

Tony is survived by his wife Ilianabell Ruiz Speranza, one son, Antonio D. Speranza, two daughters, Alexa and Lucia Speranza, all of Monroe.  Those of you who knew Tony know how kind, loving and talented he was.  His loss has had a major effect upon his family emotional and financially.  This go fund me page is started to help Tony’s family with the hardship that they may be facing.  Both Tony’s daughters have just started college and Antonio remains in high school.  The holiday season is upon us and as we go on with our lives without Tony, it is asked that if you could help spread a little Holiday cheer and give a donation to his family in loving memory of Tony.
