Tony Soto's Pageant Era

Hello All,

Silverlake Icon Tony Soto here, and I am doing my first ever GoFundMe. I will be taking part in Alaska and Lola's Drag Queen of the Year Pageant Competition Award Contest Competition on May 14th at the Montebon Theatre. This will be the first time in my drag career that I will be competing. As a local drag producer, I always focused on creating shows for audiences, now I'm doing shows for point. That's evolution, baby.

I am a "job-creating" drag queen, and I have spent my career collaborating with amazing queer people and allies so I can do what I'm good at and also showcase what they do best. This pageant will be no different, I will be buying materials, paying designers, hiring backup dancers, creating set pieces, working on production, and whatever goes into curating an amazing show experience for the judges and most importantly, the audience.
