Tony Poulsen Mobility fund

Hi, my name is Ray Roper and I've created this page to help my long time friend and associate, Tony Poulsen, get a desperately needed scooter to help him from being confined to a bed. He has stage 4 COPD and is fighting to keep his remaining days active and meaningful. This scooter would allow him to get around his room but also to a car as right now, it is impossible to breathe with that much exertion. As the pic shows, he was a drummer and actively involved in the music and film industry most of his life. When I was touring with the Ray Roper Band, Tony came on board as soundman and road manager and did an impeccable job displaying loyalty not often seen at that level. Not only was his work ethic top level but at times put himself in harm's way for the protection of the band. He went on to a successful career in film and tv doing audio and producing videos for countless shows winning awards along the way. He won an Emmy for his work on the X-files. There will also be a jam/concert in his honour in the Okanagan in the coming weeks. This is a man who deserves his friends and associates to step up and help. God knows we may all need help one day.
