Tony Odongo Memorial

This fundraiser was created by Tony's former college roommates to help support his family with any medical, funeral, and memorial costs.

Tony Edgar Odongo suddenly passed away on Wednesday 8/11/2021. He was beloved by his family, friends, and everyone that he met. Tony always had a bright smile everywhere he went, always extremely kind and selfless to both friends and strangers. With his friends Tony loved to play soccer in the Timothy Dwight courtyard, play Peach in Super Smash Bros melee, and engage in long meaningful conversation during those long college nights.

Tony was truly someone with limitless potential and passion. At Yale he graduated with an ABET-accredited degree in electrical engineering, one of the university's most difficult majors. Tony was passionate about technology being able to shape the future of Kenya and Africa as a whole, and belonged to the small group of people with both the motivation and potential to drive that change in Africa.

Tony will forever be missed.
