Tony Mistretta's funeral & help for Tracy & Katie
Donation protected
Our beloved friend, Tony Mistretta died suddenly on August 31st most likely of a massive heart attack while at work. He left behind his wife, Tracy and his daughter Katie. Tracy lost her job prior to Covid and her unemployment ended this week. He has been the sole breadwinner since November.
That feisty Italian was always there for us ever since high school. If you were his friend, he would have your back and more. If Tony heard you were going through a hard time, a divorce, or wanted just an ear, he was there. Need a deck....Tony volunteered in a heart beat. House painted? That Italian guy (everyone knew how tall he was) would be painting the entire house and then send you pictures while you are at Disney World with your kids to say it's done and hope you are having a blast with your kids. Need a former person who lived in your house out, there's Tony with his witty comments to cheer you up and make the day a blast!
He helped begin Merry Meals with some of our high school friends and one of the first packing days was at his rented townhouse and garage. We packed meals for needy 75 needy families. It has now grown to hundreds. That is the type of guy Tony was and is.
Prior to getting married, he was a single dad who gave everything to his daughter as well. He raised Katie and loved her to pieces. He was so proud of her and would do anything for her as well. He was then blessed to meet Tracy an then they got married on a beach and moved to Houston where he got a job as a surveyor. They joined a motorcycle club and they living their best life.
With all the love, Italian and smartass advice (very good and true) he gave us, it is time for us to give back. Remember every time he helped you. It's now time to repay him for his family who needs us.
Please donate to the GoFundMe for Tony, Tracy and Katie.
