On Sunday afternoon November 4th, 2018 our whole world changed. The rock of our family, the man so many people know as being so strong and full of life, at the age of 46 had a massive heart attack, known as the widow maker heart attack. Tony was faced with a 75%, 80%, and 100% blockage that left him with 3 stents in his heart which is known as a "Full Metal Jacket." Tony, faced the battle with death, but was blessed to be the overcomer.
Tony has impacted our community positively by touching the lives of the youth through coaching football and baseball. Along with his outgoing, loving, always welcoming personality. Not only that, he is a true definition of what a family man is. He always puts everyone above himself and never complains once for doing so. He is loved by so many and we want to do whatever we can to help him.
Going forward with life from here on out will be very different for Tony. At the moment, we are unsure when he will be able to return to work. The next major issue is he has accrued major medical bills and has tons more coming in the future. Starting this week he will be going to cardiac rehab at least 3 times a week for therapy along with appointments with the cardiologist. Along with all this financial stress, Tony is currently the only financial provider in his household, due to his wife having to leave her job because of medical issues herself. Therefore, all of their financial burdens falls back on him since he is the sole provider. This alone has caused so much stress on Tony, which is the last thing he should be having to do with his condition. As a family we have decided to come together and reach out to ask for help for him in this very difficult time.
If you feel it in your heart to help in any way possible, it is appreciated more than you could imagine. Tony is an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many and we want to do whatever we can to help make it easier on him in this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and support and please keep him and our family in your prayers during this difficult time.
