Tony and Lynn want to thank all their cherished friends, family and co-workers for all the wonderful cards, donations, meals, phone calls and prayers over the last few months. Tony returned home March 4th and since then has been making amazing progress through out-patient rehab and his own unbelievable determination to set new goals for himself daily!! He is so happy to be home and is determined to get back behind the wheel of his truck and to his work family at AWC as soon as he can. Please continue to pray for his full recovery because your prayers and support have made a huge difference!!!
1/15/2021 UPDATE ON TONY: On behalf of Lynn and Tony, THANK YOU so much for your generous contributions and many prayers. Your generosity and support has been amazing and so helpful as Lynn and Tony continue on his journey back to health. After 16 days in the hospital, Tony has been transferred to a rehabilitation center, Sheltering Arms, in Richmond, VA https://shelteringarmsinstitute.com/ . Due to Covid restrictions, Lynn will not be able to visit during his stay, which could be up to 6 weeks. Please pray that the doctors, nurses and therapists that will be working closely with Tony will heal his body as well as his spirit so he can come home ready and able to finish his rehabilitation near his friends and family. Tony was diagnosed with a brain tumor last month and underwent surgery on New Year's Eve to remove a benign meningioma. Tony came through the surgery like a champ but has a long road to recovery, including in house rehabilitation at the hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia then continued rehab when he gets back to Winchester. Travel, hotel, food, coinsurance, deductibles and uncovered rehab fees are anticipated. Lynn and Tony are not ones to ask for help on their own so this fund is being created for anyone who would like to help make this journey of recovery less stressful so they can just focus on Tony getting better.
