Tony J. Homegoing services

It was May 2013, and I was invited to a friends surprise birthday party.  I came early to help set up expecting to receive instructions once I arrived at the beautiful private Estate the party was being held.  As I approached the doorway to enter the home a very nice man greeted me with a big smile and some pleasant conversation, as he was there to help run the electrical lines for the party. As we exchanged in small talk he mentioned to me that he was the Owner of a General Contracting and Construction business and if I ever needed his help to please give him a call.  I took his card and expressed that I was moving to Maryland into a new house that needed some updating and that I would call him later about the details.  Seven years later, I can still remember that conversation, and about how amazing it was that we were at the same place and same time, and what was a new business relationship would develop into everlasting love.
My husband Tony, was a man with a heart so big the world could not contain it. He never entered a place with giving people the kindest smile, a compliment, and a business card. His desire was to renovate and remodel any and all homes not for money or fame, but just simply because he cared so deeply about those in our Community. The other thing and driving force behind his life was his faith in God.  There would never be a day that I wouldn't hear him listening to Bishop Jakes' messages or worshiping the Lord as the melodic and soul soothing sounds of his favorite Gospel Artists would play in the background.  He encouraged everyone he met that God was the one who changed his life and gave him a purpose and a plan to serve him and to love and help others.  No one could say that because of that deep love that it didn't affect how he loved us (his family).  He proudly would shout from rooftops to proclaim his love for me and our children and grandson.  We were his motivation to get up everyday and work long bone crushing work.  I can still see him walking in through the garage door covered in drywall dust or paint.  He would affirm his love for me and our kids everyday all day long.  He wouldn't let the day go by without telling you how much he loved you and how important we were to him.  I vowed and pledged my life to a man whose character shined like gold.  His work ethic would put some twenty year old's to shame as he would work from early day to night beautifying someone's  home or some businesses property.  It's ironic to see that the love of my life suffered from a very weak heart.  His heart was filled with so much love so why did his heart fail him in the end.  I pray that he knows for him in my life as we grow "wiser" together. I told him that I would protect his heart and would never let my love end.  This is why our family needs some help, though sometimes to proud to ask.  We do not want him to have a homegoing service not worthy of a King.  He is our King and we want to send his body to it's final resting place with the honor that he loved with.
This is not so long to my Baby it's just a see you later.
