We recently lost our dad, Tony, following a brief and unexpected illness, at the age of just 69.

Our dad was a man of generous heart and spirit, and a champion of the downtrodden - reflected in his politics, social views, and the various charitable causes he supported throughout his life.

In his retirement in Croatia, he brought several stray cats into his home and heart - the last two of whom were Maru and Sici, named for the place he spend his latter years living.

In his memory, we are raising money for Bestie, an animal welfare charity based in Split, Croatia - who support neglected and abandoned animals. We think dad would like to know he is still helping those who need it the most, even when he is not with us anymore.
