Tony Gonsalves medical and recovery support

Dear friends in the Pennridge community,

On Saturday, October 7th, the lives of two families in our community were forever changed when Tony Gonsalves and Jan Post were in a head-on collision. Tony was hospitalized after suffering traumatic injuries and Jan did not survive the accident. Naturally, it will take time to completely reconstruct the details of the accident, but until then, life goes on and the medical bills compound.

Tony is a fighter, but the road to recovery for the physical and emotional injuries will be long. As a self-employed electrician, he is the primary bread-winner for his wife and four children. Due to the injuries sustained and pain throughout most of his body, he is not able to return to work for the foreseeable future.

In the days following the accident, the Gonsalves family rallied to support their loving husband and father. Two daughters have returned from college and every member of the family is taking on additional work to help support the family's living and medical expenses. They are also responsible for Tony's day-to-day care. As you can imagine, the stress on the entire family is immense.

I am asking for your help and compassion in reducing some of the financial burden on the Gonsalves family. Their lives were forever changed on that Saturday afternoon.
