Tony DeLaune's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
As many of you know, Tony DeLaune was the General Manager at Catfish Parlour for 32 years. He was always a bright light in the restaurant and cared for his customers as he would his own family. He never passed a table without stopping with a smile or giving a handshake. He always took any opportunity to tell a story and make someone’s day. Unfortunately, Catfish Parlour had to close the Austin location doors during the pandemic. At that time, he lost his main source of income. Since then, he has been doing numerous jobs such as bartending, catering, Door Dash and other odd end jobs to make ends meet. It has been tough but manageable until of recent.
A few weeks ago, Tony became weak, and Gwen brought him to the ER. That is when they found a mass in his lung along with enlarged lymph nodes. Our dearest, Tony, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 small cell lung cancer. He will start chemotherapy and radiation treatment with Texas Oncology soon. Due to the extent of his disease, Tony is no longer able to work, and Gwen is his main caregiver which has caused the number of hours she works to decrease.
He needs not only his immediate family right now but his extended family as well which he would say is all of you! Please consider donating so we can help them through this unimaginable time. All proceeds will go to medical bills and day to day living necessities. The DeLaune’s need your help now more than ever before.
