Tony David Ashton
Donation protected
My husband and Jordan’s dad, Tony was diagnosed with dementia at the young age of 59. A very cruel and unrelenting disease which gradually strips people of their ability to function.
In April of this year Tony was admitted to the Young Onset Dementia Cariad Unit at Barry Hospital where he spent the remainder of his life under the wonderful care of the Young Onset Dementia team.
The young onset dementia service is a specialist and dedicated service for people who receive a diagnosis of dementia under the age of 65 and for their carers and families.
As a family we cannot express how grateful we are for the genuine kindness they showed not only to Tony but to us and Tony’s friends who visited. They became our family. We don’t know how we would have coped without them. They went above and beyond to ensure Tony was well cared for, respected and loved. For this we are extremely thankful and will be forever in their debt.
As a way of thank you please help and donate what you can so that the team can carry on their amazing work in helping other families like ours.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts our YOD family. We love each and everyone of you.
Always Jackie, Jordan, Joey & Poppy xx
