Tony Bell's Road to Recovery and Medical Expenses
If you know him, I’m quite sure you have received a lot of wisdom, some humor and a bit of advice on how to rebel within the first hour you were together. My second father, the father of my best friend, Casey, and the husband of my second mom, Cynthia is one of a kind. He’s selfless, stubborn and one of the greatest men I’ve ever met. He has shown us how to live, how to love and where to bury the body. He is the best Dad, second Dad, Husband, Poppy and Friend anyone can know. He has impacted our lives so much with wit and wisdom but now it is time to show him some love.
A week ago, Tony was taken by ambulance to the hospital with significantly decreased cognitive function. After two days of every test imaginable, Tony was diagnosed with extended high BP, pneumonia and uremia. His kidneys have been giving him hell for the past ten years and finally decided they are done. Hence, Tony has remained in the hospital and has been put on multiple medications and daily dialysis. He will be moved to a rehabilitation center next week to increase his mobility and learn how to move forward on life long dialysis.
A former boxer, we all know that Tony is a fighter. However, the weeks in the hospital are going to unfortunately put a major strain on him and Cynthia’s fixed income. I’m sure they are extremely thankful for health insurance but I know that the bills that are to come soon are going to be extraordinarily expensive.
Let's show the Bell’s how much they mean to us and how they have impacted our lives for the better! No donation is too small and means more than you know. Also, please send a prayer, some good vibes or thoughts to the family. They almost lost him but they are the strongest family I know. Thank you! ❤
