Tony Barber needs medical funds

Hi there!

This GO FUND-ME is to help my dear friend with his medical expenses. Tony was

diagnosed with colon cancer, October 2022 and he also found out that same week that it had spread to his liver. He had surgery in October 2022 to remove the cancer from his colon. He has another surgery on his liver in February 2023. He was declared cancer free in March 2023. Then July 2023 it showed up again on an MRI two spots on his liver and a spot on his lymph node in his chest. He was told that his cancer is considered uncurable and chemo was the only treatment. A couple of weeks ago he flew out to California to CITY OF HOPE, in hopes of a miracle. The doctor told him without treatment he may have 6-12 months and they suggested he should do radiation. Tony is in Stage 4 and his oncologist said with treatment he may have 2 1/2 to 3 years to live. But the CITY OF HOPE said with radiation he could live 7 years. Tony’s faith in God is so strong. His attitude and will to live is unbelievable. But as if this story couldn’t get any sadder…when he returned from his California trip and went back to work they fired him! He had not been written up or complaints about his work performance so he was totally blind sided! When Tony told the HR representative that he has a chemo treatment coming the following week and he needs his insurance. Her reply was..it’s not personal this is a business decision. Tony worked for a big corporation and was devastated. So I hope that who is reading this can give. No amount is too small! Please keep Tony in your prayers and please share! He needs his treatments.
