On Thursday, December 1, 2022, Tony was admitted to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital after experiencing difficulty breathing following a flu diagnosis. Over the weekend of December 2-4, he was transferred to Methodist Hospital and placed on lifesaving intensive care systems.
On Tuesday, December 6 Tony underwent a successful open heart surgery to repair his mitral valve. He remains hospitalized at Methodist. While he is making progress toward recovery, he is still on intensive care systems and requires specialized around-the clock care.
Visitation is limited to a few hours a day and only 1-2 close family members per day are allowed to visit. While Tony has been in the hospital, Amy has been steadfastly by his side. It is not currently known when Tony may be cleared to leave the hospital and return home. There is a likely long road to recovery and rehabilitation ahead for both of them.
We have started this fund to help support them as they face medical bills and other expenses associated with this time.
