Our family received devastating news on 01/13/2026: our beautiful, strong, and kind sister, Tonubari, has passed away at the group home where she lived. This loss was completely unexpected, especially given how healthy she had been. An investigation is underway, and we are waiting for more information following the autopsy. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and we are all still in shock, doing our best to cope. We truly need all the help and support we can get right now.

Tonubari did not have an easy life. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 8, and due to malpractice and improper treatment, she suffered brain damage, which left her disabled by age 15. By 21, her condition had worsened, and we were forced to move her into a group home so she could receive full-time care. Our family was heartbroken, but ever since then we have worked tirelessly to keep her healthy and happy—until we received this tragic news.
