Tonja Jennings, a dedicated teacher, tutor, spiritual leader, community member, and friend to all who know her is dealing with multiple complications due to her battle with lupus and recent diagnosis of pneumonia. On December 7, she was taken to The University of South Alabama via life flight and is currently in ICU, on a ventilator. Tonja is also in kidney failure awaiting dialysis depending on her progression. She is over 4 hours from home and her mother and sister are facing expenses just to be there for their beloved family member. We would like to ease their burden by helping to cover the cost of the helicopter, hotel, food and gas as they support Tonja.
