At 1am while sleeping in her bed on July 1, Antonina Vasylchenko (Tonia) had a unexpected severe stroke. Nearly causing her to pass away.
Thankfully with the help of the medical team at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Canada she survived; along with her second child which she is currently pregnant with. She has been hospitalized for 8 weeks now and continues to need rehabilitation.
- Tonia is a lifelong musician. A pianist and music teacher of exceptional talent.
- She is also the mother to her 2 year old daughter, Darina. As well as the wife to Eric.
Tonia's family has undergone many struggles since 2022. They are in need of immediate financial help.
They restarted their lives in Canada in April 2024. After surviving over 2 years of war in Ukraine between 2022 and 2024. It has been a difficult transition and the stroke has putting them financially at a breaking point.
Since July 1, Eric has become a single-dad overnight and primary caregiver to Darina. He has been forced to put most of his work on hold.
