Tonia's Journey to a New Career Needs Your Support
Donation protected
My name is Tonia and I've been working in Corporate America in Human Resources my entire career. In 2023, I was laid off due to “budget cuts”. I finally landed a job after 2 years, and 4 weeks later, I was told that I was an exceptional recruiter but I wasn't a "good fit." Of course, I was devastated, but I decided to shift gears and go back to school. I'm going into healthcare and I've already registered. Problem is, I'm so embarrassed to say this, but I have no money to pay for it and I'm ineligible for any grants or loans because I exhausted that getting my Master's degree in business.
I need approximately $1600 for the prerequisites to become a surgical technician or radiology technician. Currently, I'm undecided, but essentially need the same courses to get into the program(s).
The additional monies needed, approximately $2730, will be used to cover 7 months of my HOA dues so I don't have to worry much about homelessness while studying.
I know this isn't your issue, but anything you can contribute will help. Thank you in advance.
