Toni Michelle (Hill) Rowser

Hi, my name is Daphney. Toni is my best friend and mother. She is a wonderful spirit that would give a stranger the shirt off her back or the last piece of food off her plate. She is a mother of 4 (plus many others that I and my siblings brought home lol), a devoted fiancée, a loving grandmother (Nona, in her words. She was too young to be a grandma) and dog mother. Yes, she loved her fur baby, Zeus. On August 6th, she went to the ER complaining of chest pain. She was treated and released. On August 11th around 3 AM, she began to have breathing complications once more and suffered cardiac arrest. The EMTs were able to revive her and get her to another ER. She suffered another cardiac arrest episode and again was revived. After a head CT was ordered, I and my family were informed that my mother suffered severe brain damage and a brain bleed. The doctors let us know that she still had limited brain activity but a very slim chance of recovery. She would be a vegetable even if she survived. As of August 13th, my mother was declared brain dead. This broke all of our hearts because of the suddenness and swiftness in which all of these events occurred. My mother did have life insurance but because of her medical history, she was not able to be approved for much. Every little bit helps with the funeral, burial and the remaining medical expenses. Funeral and memorial arrangements are TBD.
