Tong Ceaser Mayen, known as Tutu, was born on April 24th, 2001, in Calgary, AB. Raised in a close-knit family, he cherished his childhood memories through family gatherings.

A young man filled with immense joy and laughter, Tong was an avid musician who shaped lives and touched hearts through his words and melodies. Outside of his musical pursuits, Tong found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was enjoying family company, joining the youth ministry at his church, playing basketball and soccer, anywhere Tong was, there was nothing shy of laughter. His laughter was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tong’s greatest source of pride and joy was his mother, siblings, and family, and he was cherished and loved by every single person who encountered him. He was born to Ceaser Donato Mayen and Monica John Malou Ater. Additionally, he left behind his aunt Helena John Malou Ater, his siblings and cousins, Mayen, Mayar, Thomas, Agoth, and Lula.

As we gather to honor Tong, let us celebrate his profound words and memories, and his love and knowledge of God. As he once said, “Leave it up to God.” From our family and friends, thank you for your prayers and encouragement. We are at peace knowing that he is with God.
