Wij zijn ToneelTroep! Een jong acteergezelschap met een passie voor Engelstalige theaterstukken, met de nadruk op de werken van William Shakespeare. Sinds onze eerste opvoering van Romeo & Juliet in 2014 in ons eigen Bergen op Zoom, zijn we nu 10 jaar verder en hebben in totaal 8 producties opgevoerd: van Hamlet tot Coriolanus en van Titus Andronicus tot A Midsummer Night´s Dream.

Onze ambities zijn opgebloeid tot het hier en nu, waarin we eindelijk ons eerste jaar als officiële vereniging in zijn gegaan. Jaar één van inschrijving bij de KvK gaat echter helaas nog niet hand in hand met cultuursubsidie. We zijn dus hard aan het werk om alsnog de financiering op een rijtje te zetten voor onze nieuwste productie, Macbeth.

Door te doneren bouwt u mee aan de verwezenlijking van onze visie voor deze opvoering. Iedere munt wordt gestoken in het betalen van kostuums, rekwisieten en decor. Alles om het publiek mee te slepen in Shakespeare´s meesterwerken, op de planken gezet door jong talent.

We are ToneelTroep! A young troupe of actors with a passion for English theatrical plays, emphasis on the works of William Shakespeare. Since our initial performance of Romeo & Juliet back in 2014, played within our hometown of Bergen op Zoom, we are now 10 years later and have a total of 8 productions under our belt: from Hamlet to Coriolanus and from Titus Andronicus to A Midsummer Night´s Dream.

We now find ourselves in the present, where we finally have obtained the official status of a registered theatre organisation. However, the first year of registration at the Chamber of Commerce unfortunately does not grant us any cultural subsidy yet. Nevertheless we are hard at work to find alternative ways to fund our newest production, Macbeth.

By donating, you lend your aid to the realisation of our very own rendition of the play. Every penny helps us afford costumes, props and set dressing: everything to immerse our audience in Shakespeare's masterwork, brought to you by our talented youth.
