This is Santa Claus.

Each year my partner takes on this role in Tonbridge, Kent and together with his helper (me) we spend a day bringing joy and good cheer to all residents, especially children. But what is Santa without a sack full of gifts for all the boys and girls?

We work entirely on donations and then buy, wrap and sort presents by age group like good little elves! We set up in the Salvation Army charity shop in Tonbridge High Street and all toys are free to whoever comes along to see Santa in his window grotto! (Donations for the next year Welcome!)

This year we want to make sure it is extra special for all the boys and girls who may need to know they are on the good list this year.

Alternatively, toys can be directly purchased and donated to the shop, who will make sure the elves get to wrapping it.

We need all toys for all ages, from newborn to early teens, so any donation big or small will go a long way to us reaching our goal of £1000 worth of toys, gifts and games for the children! (our most popular age range is 4-8 years)

We are nobody special - just a couple who have no children of their own but both agree that there is nothing that brings more joy than the innocence of children, especially when they see a real life Santa! We don't have a lot ourselves, and we both grew up in very low income households, so we know what it is like to be a child a Christmas with no gifts, that's why we would be forever grateful for your donations in order to help as many kids as we can enjoy the festive period.

Christmas, to us, is about giving what you can to make others happy.
